Lakoda

Lakoda is 8 weeks old when I bring her home on a cold night in December 2002.  

I see an ad in the local paper, call the number listed and drive  the 60 miles to Crossville Tennessee to see the litter of pups.  There are 6 pups the person I speak to tells me.

Crossville is located in the mountains of middle Tennessee.  These mountains are not as high as the mountains in east Tennessee, the Smoky Mountains.

She rode home in a card board box in the back of my RED Jeep, more than 15 year ago.  She was a one person dog and had no interest in other people.  15 years goes quickly and I was soon faced with the difficult task between quality of life and death...
